Steam Train Ride and Civil War Re-enactment

Saturday, June 13, the Salem County Puppy Raisers invited other clubs in the region to join them for an outing on the historic Wilmington & Western Railroad in Delaware. The train stopped in a remote area and a talented team of re-enactors provided a demonstration of what it might have been like during the civil war.

A total of ten puppies and around 20 persons were on board for this enjoyable and educational outing. None of the puppies seemed afraid of the steam locomotive, the gunfire or loud explosions of cannons.
