It was a very hot day and we had to be careful that the puppies didn't get the pads of their paws burned on
the metal ramp leading to the ferry. In the late afternoon, while some of us were leaving, a wild thunderstorm
took us by surprise. All that exposure was good for the puppies. Our visit to the fort was
enjoyable and quite educational, but I didn't get many pictures of the fort
itself!
